HOT OFF THE PRESS! TODAY'S Dallas Morning News Headline! "Bush asks for extra $46 billion for wars. President Bush asked Congress for $46 billion more to fund wars in Iraq and Afghanistan." WOW! Yep, I said $46 billion, and that's with a capital 'B'! Now if you're paying $11,000 annually like we are for our HMO health costs, and we are lucky enough to be really, really healthy - where is our help President Bush? Heck! We're the ones paying the bills the last time I looked. I have always voted for the best man/woman for the job, but I'm getting pretty disgusted with the Republican Party. And you know I'm really disgusted when Hillary is starting to look good!

Dude, I'm a proud Democrat (which is why I don't discuss politics with your daughter, heehee) but even I don't want to vote for Hilary, but Bush has no idea what is going on with the war. I heard a song called "Hands Held High" by Linkin Park (it's a great song!) and one phrase that stays in my head is "when the rich wage war, it's the poor that die" and "for a leader so nervous in an obvious way, stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay". Basically, we're fucked.
