TEXAS LIVING!

OH MY GAWD! Could this insurance nightmare with Travelers get any worse? I thought I'd seen it all, heard it all already. Here's the latest! Service King in McKinney calls and says the Tahoe is ready to be picked up. I drop off the controversial rental car to Enterprise and head to the body shop to get our car. They inform me they have never received the $2600 check for repairs - did I have it? Did I have it? Hell no, I didn't have it! I couldn't expect Travelers to be that organized given the rest of our experience. Luckily for me, Todd Brewer, our Service King rep was sympathetic to our problems and let me take the Tahoe with my promise to deliver the check if it gets mailed to me. And now I have to ask the question: if Travelers really expected the car to be repaired in two days, why isn't the check already here? GEEZ! Now we still have get the damn claim closed! Time to move on I guess and put this behind us.
