TEXAS LIVING!

There is so much going on in Texas, where to start? How about politics? Tuesday is Super Tuesday, and it has been absolutely crazy here with early voting. Especially with the Democrats! The local media reported that through Friday evening, in Dallas County alone, 118,000+ plus Democratic voters had turned out compared to 31,000 Republican voters – nearly 10 times as many as at a similar point four years ago. And that was just early voting! We’ll have see what Super Tuesday brings! I think I read that Obama and Clinton are in a ‘dead-heat’! Today’s Dallas Morning News endorsed Obama and Huckabee. I usually don’t share my vote, but I did vote for Obama this week, and I think my wife may have voted for Hillary, canceling out my vote! Texas weather! And speaking of today’s Morning News, here is what the headline said about the weather, “Winter spent much of shift hibernating”. And “WINTER’S TALE – Lower heating bills; Fewer icy roads; Drier fire season; and, Dusty, gusty breezes. SPRING AHEAD – Passable wildflower season; Brilliant flowering shrubs; Better chance of rain; and, Mosquitoes? Depends on the rain!” And speaking of flowers! I think next Saturday I’ll head to the Dallas Arboretum for the 24th Annual Dallas Blooms, The Star of Texas! Dallas Blooms will feature more than 400,000 spring-blooming bulbs, over 3,000 azaleas and thousands of another annuals and perennials spread throughout the 66-acre garden. I’m hoping to get some wonderful photos!
