What a difference a day makes. Our weather is simply beautiful after the clouds opened up on Tuesday and dumped rain relentlessly for a solid 24 hours. They say that Allen officially had 5.35 inches of rain on Tuesday, and that friends, is a bucket–load! In the 2+ years we have lived here, we have seen some downpours, but nothing sustained like what we had this week. We experienced no problems in our development, but in the local Park, the ponds all merged and swelled above the pedestrian walkways.
There is not much else going on. Washington friends, Monte & Karen Brachmann from Camas are in town and we are hooking up with them tomorrow night for dinner. It will be quiet here for Easter. That’s a good thing tho as I am almost over my recent bout of pneumonia and will like the rest. Gotta love those drugs tho!
