I subscribe to an electronic newsletter for a new development on the Washington coast called Seabrook. Actually it is a new town in the vicinity of Pacific Beach, about three hours west of Seattle. What is so cool about this is that it is being developed by Casey Roloff, son of Larry & Robyn Roloff. Larry was my best man when Donna and I got married in 1970. In October it will be eight years since Larry passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack, at the young age of 57. Forty years ago when I met Larry & Robyn, I used to watch their daughter Darci before they went on to add two sons to their family. Anyway, Casey at 36 years of age has done really well for himself as a builder/developer. We consider the whole Roloff extended family as part of our own. Larry was also an early mentor for me in the grocery business all those years ago. I’m including links from the Seabrook ‘E’ newsletter which includes two articles on Casey and his new development. One article was in the New York Times. I couldn’t be prouder, and I know Larry is looking down on his family with a huge smile on his face. Waaaay to go!
