TEXAS LIVING!

Well readers. The party is over! Donna comes home tonight after visiting Battle Ground, WA. for the past 15 days. While in Battle Ground she house/pet sat for my sister Brenda and niece Kayce’. She also went hiking with her good friend Sandra Steigman in Central Oregon. And most importantly she got see our family! And me? I had a wonderful time with me, myself, and I while she was gone. I actually didn’t do any projects Donna had on the ‘honey-do’ list for me. I worked some long hours, sat by the pool, read a couple of books and spent time with my almost 3-year old grandson Connor. He spent both Saturday nights with me and yesterday afternoon. He really likes dunking Oreo’s in chocolate milk. I mentioned sitting by the pool – that’s because we have had hotter than normal weather. But then again, that is one of the many reasons we re-located to North Texas! We have had mid-90’s heat and today was almost triple digits. Some time back I posted about our continuing saga with new living room furniture. We finally got our last chair! Yahoo! Not exactly the same color, but close enough! We're off to Lubbock on Friday for Connor's birthday party with the Lubbock family. Haven't seen some of them in several months, so looking forward to the visit! Also hoping to tour the United Super Market distribution center for work, so I can write off part of my trip!
