TEXAS LIVING!

What’s new here in Texas? I guess I might as well start with football. The local Allen High School team won again Friday night and have won now District. They will now hopefully win the next series of play-off games to advance to the State 5A finals. Last year they were in the same position, favored to advance – and lost their first play-off game against an unranked opponent. GO EAGLES! And then we have the two Texas teams who are ranked nationally, #2 ranked in the BCS, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, and that other team from Austin! Tech will have next weekend off and then will play their two remaining games to hopefully win the Big 12 South. And then we’ll see where they go from there. And of course there is the local NFL team, but their name escapes me – oh yea, the Cowboys. Weather here is around 70 degrees with plenty of blue sky. Nights are in the upper 40’s, and we have a cold front predicted for the next few days. Day-time temps will drop off some, and we have thunderstorms predicted. We could sure use the rain - we are about eight inches short this year. Anyone wearing the shoes pictured below? Several employees where I work have been wearing them for the last few months. They swear that their knee, hip and lower back pain have disappeared. Since I am on my feet most of the eight hour day, I decided to spend the money (I needed shoes anyway) and give them a try. And I gotta say, the first day I wore them I noticed a huge difference in my knees by the time I got home. Now that I have worn them five days, I can honestly say they are awesome! And I would recommend them to everyone who spends time on their feet. They are called Z-Coils. There are several different styles and colors. Donna says they are funky looking, but then again I didn’t buy them because they are stylish!

I've heard about them but have never seen them. I think I'd like to try them to see if they help my knees. I may check them out. jan
