WOW! Where does the time go? I get caught up with the everyday minutia of everyday life, and forget some things! GEEZ! I haven’t posted anything on the blog since late November. I do have a few updates to share. Earlier I had mentioned the scams trying to sell my Mustang. So far we have two phony cashier’s checks, one for $17,000, and one for $17,500. They expect me to immediately wire them the difference between the asking price and their check amount, supposedly for inspection and transport charges. The checks always arrive late on Friday before you have a chance to get to the bank. Yea, right! And now I have a phony cashier’s check for $1,500 to buy Wade & Michelle’s lounge chairs. They were posted on Craig’s List for $250. It is hard to imagine people actually fall for these scams! Me? I’m having fun ‘egging ‘em on’! And City of Allen update! I had also mentioned earlier about the absolutely crappy customer service from the City regarding over-grown limbs blocking the sidewalks in our neighborhood. My GAWD, you’d think I had asked for something difficult or expensive. It has now been over 2 months, and I’m still trying to get satisfaction. The City has not been very communicative until I told them I was keeping all our e-mail exchanges, and I was tempted to attend a City Council meeting! So NOW I have their attention! We’ll see! Donna has reminded me my expectations are too high, therefore I am disappointed easily!
