TRAVEL!
ROAD TRIP! Donna and I are off in the morning for a road trip through the Hill Country – destination, Fredericksburg! Lots to see along the way! We’re following a route published in a Texas tour guide that will take us to former President Lyndon B. Johnson’s ranch and Johnson City. We’ll also stop in Luckenbach for a ‘long-neck’ on the deck of the General Store. Here’s what the official Luckenbach, Texas web site says, “These days Luckenbach Texas is, to paraphrase John Steinbeck, a "State of Mind" – A Texas state of mind, where you can kick back, relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life—like a step back in time.“ We will spend two nights in an historic Bed & Breakfast in Fredericksburg, we’ll eat, shop, nap, eat and just plain ‘chill’. And that crazy Donna? She’s getting ready for her trip to SW Washington the end of this month. And today we scheduled her another trip the 1st of March.

Hi Bruce and Donna! Sounds like tons of fun. I remember the SUN... it's warm and bright if my memory serves me. I am sure I will know it if I ever see it again! Big hello from the Pacific NorthWET! ~Theresa
