TEXAS LIVING!

How about that North Texas heat? Today tied the record with 105 degrees. So far this year we have had 18 days in triple digits – 2 more than the average. And so far in July we have had 13 days 100 degrees or more, and July usually sees just six days in triple digits. And we haven’t even got to August yet! All this week is expected to reach 100 or more degrees. But then again – that is one of the reasons Donna and I settled here . . . sunshine and ‘hot’ weather! And how about the City of Allen? The August issue of Money magazine ranks Allen one of the 20 Best Places to Live. One reason, according to Money magazine editors, is Montgomery Farm. Magazine editors commented, "Montgomery Farm, an environmentally conscious mixed-use development, has maintained lush greenways while adding upscale dining and shopping." And this is the development where I work . . . at Market Street. Montgomery Farm is a very KEWL new development. Congratulations to the City of Allen, Texas! And other good news? I got gas yesterday at Kroger’s and only paid $3.73. YAHOO!
