Ok readers! You missed out renting the Moki, Kauai property in 2009. My sister-in-law Pati has it reserved. She has used the condo more than we have since we moved to Texas. Don’t hesitate tho on the Cabo property! Sleeps 8, three bathrooms, close walk into town and the marina, private beach and a gorgeous facility! Steal it for $1400 for the week – a huge savings over the going rate! See info on the left side. Well! I’m almost done commenting on football. Allen High School ended their season as State 5A-Division I champions and rated 3rd in the final USA Today Super 25 standings. Texas Tech plays in the Cotton Bowl this week and that pro team from Dallas just might be finishing up their season today if they ‘choke’ AGAIN! I really don’t have a favorite pro team to watch, so will just watch as I have time. I am enjoying the College Bowl games, and I’m looking forward to several, including Oregon and Oregon State this week. And just how goofy is this Texas weather? Friday we had a high of 83 degrees. Today is currently 53 at 2:30. We had a tornado alert yesterday to add a little excitement! But our weather I’ll take compared to what Donna is experiencing while visiting SW Washington. The photos here are from different friends and family that e-mailed us this past week.
We haven't posted anything for around 6+ years! It's time to get back to it! We will be posting a new label about North Texas Smoke & Arizona Livin' - be sure and read 'em if you like to eat or keep up with our smoking news for North Texas Smoke & misc. recipes!

Hmmm, if my geography is correct those are warm places. Why would I vacation somewhere warm? Have anything in...oh, say the Rockie Mountains right by a ski resort? Much more up my alley! Yes, I know..I'm crazy.
Happy New Year (a few days early).
