TEXAS LIVING!

Hey ya’ll! We have had a busy two weeks. First, good friends Ronnie & Sandra Steigman arrived as they made their way from Battle Ground, WA. to Yuma, AZ. via Allen & Corpus Christi, TX. They have visited before, so we mostly ‘chilled’, spent some time with son Wade and his family, some dining out, and we even visited with Dion Rucker, who grew up with Wade and Steigman’s son Troy. Turns out he lives just 3 miles from Wade! Another life-long and school friend, Trevor Rose, lives in Corpus Christi. Last week was a family visit. Donna’s sister Karen, and her brother Nin’s wife, Pati. It was their first visit to Texas so lots of sight-seeing. We visited the Dallas Arboretum for Dallas Blooms, 400,000 tulips in bloom; we visited the Kennedy 6th Floor Museum; and the Stockyards in Historic Ft. Worth; plus lots of eating at new places not found in SW Washington. We also had time for a couple of visits with Wade, Michelle and Connor. Donna’s brother Doug sent about 100 razor clams with Karen for us. What a treat! We had clams for dinner Friday night! Thank you Doug and Karen! Good friend Barney Cosner and his family will be here next week-end visiting their family in Wylie, about 10 miles away. We will be hooking up for dinner in Dallas (AND tequila and ceviche). And then the following week-end, good friends Monte & Karen Brachmann from Camas, WA. will be here for just one day. We are also expecting good friend Bruce Bosch to be here in the next few weeks. Sure is a busy time. These can easily be sold at online auctions or online car part shops..
