Since travel usually goes two ways, I’ll mention coming AND going! First of all, sister-in-law Pati was here for five days to check in, meet the twins and see the rest of us. It was pretty kicked back without much sight-seeing since Pati was here earlier this year with sister-in-law Karen. We did manage to eat out some (one of our favorite ‘past-times’). And then shortly after, good friend Pat McDonnell arrived for NASCAR week-end. His son Shawn arrived the night before, and we had a great time visiting my son and family, a hockey game in the new Allen Event Center, and the whole day on Sunday for the Dickie’s 500 race - with 170,000 of our closest friends. And where else can you go to see fans in NASCAR jackets for their favorite driver that cost more than they obviously spend on dental care! As for going? Donna spent two weeks in SW Washington visiting family & friends and got back last week. She had a wonderful time catching up with everyone. She stayed with Kenny & Karen – thanks for hosting! And what did she bring home? Elk sausage and razor clams. Thank you, thank you brother-in-law’s Doug & Nin! And me? I flew to Kansas City and drove to Louisville, Nebraska to see family – out one day, back the next. Thank you Aunt Cleo for your gracious hospitality! It was great seeing everyone!
We haven't posted anything for around 6+ years! It's time to get back to it! We will be posting a new label about North Texas Smoke & Arizona Livin' - be sure and read 'em if you like to eat or keep up with our smoking news for North Texas Smoke & misc. recipes!
