WOW! I had a great week-end here in Allen. I took in three of the balloon lift-off events at last week-end’s Plano Hot Air Balloon Festival. The lift-off grounds re only about 10 – 15 minutes away, where they get 70,000 attendees. Friday morning was a gorgeous sunrise with about 25 balloons, Friday evening was about 45 balloons, and Saturday morning was supposed to be around 75 balloons. There wasn’t much wind Saturday morning, so I don’t there was many more than about 40 balloons. I created a Kodak album with just over 50 photos. There is a balloon that is a giant cow, and several more odd shapes. If anyone wants the link to the Kodak gallery, let me know. After the first sunrise event, I went with Donna to get in touch with my feminine side Friday morning. Yep! I had a pedicure. Here’s the deal. I can maintain my own toe-nails, but gosh . . . . I love the massage chair, and the lower leg and foot massage. A couple of years ago Donna talked me into going for my first pedicure before we went to Hawaii. Now I get a pedicure about twice a year! All you girly men should get one too!
