BLOG STUFF! Well, it has been an interesting month watching our Cribbage Flat Southwest visitor stats. Special thanks to my daughter Amanda’s ‘bestest’ friend Cameo for helping me install the free code to check visitor stats to the site. We got a late start for the month, but still managed 637 page visits in September after we started tracking the stats. We probably hit close to 700 for the month total. Using the stat counter, we can see where site visitors come from and in some cases; we can determine visitors by their e-mail domain name and where on the world map visitors are located. Some interesting information, for example: we have had visitors from Costa Rica, England and India, as well as all-over the US. We made the blog available ‘internet-wide’, so I guess Google or Yahoo searches could have directed visitors our way. Last Saturday the 22nd we had 90 page visits, our daily high. Not too many visitors have left comments on the blog, but have sent us e-mails directly with questions, feedback, and even some requests. Since most of our friends and family know we have had about 90 vehicles, we had two requests to post photos of our favorite cars. Several also know I love to shoot sunrises and sunsets, and suggested I post my favorites of those photos. I’ve started to place photos in albums in our Kodak Gallery, and I guess for those who would like to see photos, they can request the link. In an earlier posting I had mentioned the testing of the new Dison hand-dryer in the DFW airport, and one of our visitors appears to be the Dison Company in London. Go figure! Please post some comments! It just might generate more comments or even create a debate. We’d love that!
