Hey y’all! . . . Sure is windy here today and getting colder! It was 67 degrees when I left for work this morning at 4:40. It is now 4:40 again and it is only 48 degrees 12 hours later. Pretty crazy! We have had terrible winds here today causing several fires around North Texas, as well as many power outages. And tonight it is predicted to get below freezing. My new job is going terrific! I love it! The photos above are Wes & Kathy, the receivers at the McKinney store where I have been getting my training. They have been awesome, and very, very patient with me! One of the other photos is how I have been trained to keep my back-room! The sign above Wes’ desk says it all – “My Barn, My Rules!” The other photo is the new store opening here in Allen February 29th. And what a store it is – just gorgeous! “Where every day meets gourmet”! Well! Today on my front porch is just what I didn’t need, another damn phone book! Actually two phone books. It seems as though we get 10 different phone books every year. And it doesn’t look like this year will be any different. I tried to stop them, but that was like dealing with the government! What a waste. I seldom use a phone book anymore because it is just so much easier to load up the Yellow Pages on my computer! Know what I mean? Guess that’s it for my posting today – I’m headed out to the recycling tote with my new phone books!
We haven't posted anything for around 6+ years! It's time to get back to it! We will be posting a new label about North Texas Smoke & Arizona Livin' - be sure and read 'em if you like to eat or keep up with our smoking news for North Texas Smoke & misc. recipes!

I tagged you! Find out the details on my blog.
I can't agree with you more! Every time there's a phonebook on my porch, I start complaining about it. And it goes right to the recycle bin. I haven't used a phone book since computers!
