Hey ya’ll! Hope you had a wonderful Friday the 13th! And Happy Valentine’s Day today! Our predicted Texas weather this past week fizzled again for the most part. We were tempted with heavy rainfall which we really need, and did not get enough of. Local news says we are down about a foot of rain to date – would hate to see the lakes drop again and put us on water restrictions later this year. I love driving a clean car too much to not be able to wash my cars! And that traveling Donna is at it again! Her good friend Sandra Steigman from Battle Ground arrives today and they are immediately headed to Canyon Lake Resort in the Hill Country down by San Antonio, about 4 ½ hours away. They will be gone a week and so me and Gus the new dog are batching it. Grandson Connor has a sleep-over tonight night with me and will keep Gus busy, or will Gus keep Connor busy? Sandra and Ronnie will be back next month with their fifth wheel RV when they are on their southwest road tour. And then the end of March/early April we have Karen, Donna’s sister, and Pati, our sister-in-law, here for five days. Also trying to get Brenda and Kayce’ here on Brenda’s airline miles. Connor and his folks had a good time in Cancun, but said it was cold this trip. Connor and Wade swam with the dolphins and we are waiting for photos and video. Toby and Jocelyn are in Trout Lake this weekend for a romantic get-a-way. His words, not mine. Haven’t heard yet what Amanda is doing this weekend.
